DOUMA ZAMBA CHARITY IS...
Educate (Evangelization through the Word of God)
The association's mission is to spread spiritual and moral values based on the Word of God. This includes organizing evangelistic campaigns, seminars, spiritual retreats, Bible study activities for young people and adults, and training Christian leaders capable of impacting their communities. The goal is to strengthen faith, promote love of neighbor, and encourage a life centered on spiritual principles.
To help those in need on a social level
The association works with people in difficulty—widows, orphans, vulnerable families, and those living in precarious circumstances—to provide them with social support. This can take the form of distributing food, clothing, school kits, medical assistance, psychological support, and social reintegration programs. The association aims to improve the living conditions of the most disadvantaged.
To build a social action center
A social action center will be established to support disadvantaged communities. This center will offer a variety of services: educational support for children, academic tutoring, training workshops (crafts, technical trades, agriculture), family support, and a listening space. Qualified instructors from Africa and elsewhere will provide supervision to train, guide, and help beneficiaries become self-reliant and responsible.
To Promote national and international partnerships
The association is committed to establishing collaborations with other organizations pursuing similar objectives, both nationally and internationally. These partnerships will allow for the pooling of resources, strengthen the impact of actions, carry out joint projects, obtain financial and institutional support, and promote the exchange of expertise to improve the quality of interventions.
To Working towards access to drinking water
The association plans to contribute to the creation, rehabilitation, and maintenance of drinking water points: boreholes, wells, and improved springs. In many regions of Africa, access to clean water is a major challenge. The goal is to reduce waterborne diseases, alleviate the burden on rural communities, and improve sanitation. The project includes hygiene awareness campaigns, sustainable water management, and training for local populations in the maintenance of water facilities.
To Providing humanitarian assistance and carrying out solidarity actions
DOUMA ZAMBA CHARITY intervenes in crisis situations: conflicts, natural disasters, famine, epidemics, population displacements, or situations of extreme underdevelopment. The organization provides humanitarian assistance in the form of food, water, medical care, shelter, clothing, psychological support, and rehabilitation activities. It aims to protect vulnerable populations and meet their vital needs quickly and effectively.
To Build an orphanage
The association plans to build an orphanage to house orphaned, abandoned, or destitute children. This center will offer a safe environment, quality education, psychosocial support, appropriate care, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. The goal is to ensure their well-being, their intellectual and moral development, and to offer them a dignified and promising future.
About Us
DOUMA ZAMBA
CHARITY...
Our organization "Douma Zamba Charity" is a young humanitarian nonprofit 501(c) (3) dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable populations in Central Africa, specifically in Cameroon. Our mission is to empower vulnerable children-including orphans and those living with disabilities-to positively impact society by ensuring access to education, nutritious food, clean water, and essential support for their well-being and development. We also extend our care to widows and the elderly especially the ones living in the countryside, who often face extreme poverty and social isolation.
The purpose of our work is clear and urgent: "No child left behind" by ensuring yearly full tuition and weekly hour's tutoring to 2030 orphans and disabled children. Alleviate hunger, reduce suffering, and help build safer, stronger communities where every individual, regardless of circumstance, has the opportunity to thrive. Grant funding will directly support programs that provide educational resources, nutritional assistance, and vital health and social services to those most in need.
By investing in this initiative, you are not only meeting immediate humanitarian needs-you are helping to break the cycle of poverty and build resilience within communities that have long endured hardship. Together, we can create lasting change, restore hope, save lives, and empower Central Africa's most vulnerable populations to build a brighter future.
